Sparrow throws an overhand right that lands on Gomes II's shoulder, as Gomes II tries to avoid the shot.
Gomes II looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Sparrow throws a jab when Gomes II was well out of range.

Gomes II ducks under a wild hook from Sparrow.
Gomes II slips a straight right by Sparrow.
Gomes II feints and as Sparrow raises his hands in defense, Gomes II changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Sparrow manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Sparrow pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Sparrow misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Gomes II looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Sparrow throws out a loose jab but Gomes II uses good head movement to avoid it.
Gomes II keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sparrow.
Sparrow cracks Gomes II with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Gomes II tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Sparrow pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Gomes II is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
