Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Roger Dandley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bionic Hawk!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Winston Howard and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawk tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dandley paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Dandley decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Dandley not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Hawk actively working from the bottom here.
Dandley could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Dandley is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Hawk is looking to escape.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Dandley in particular looking to stall.

Dandley wants to work for an arm triangle but Hawk is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Hawk wants to get back to full guard.

Hawk really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dandley. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Dandley is working for a submission of some sort.

Dandley perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Hawk is not content to let Dandley control the position.

Hawk is staying active underneath Dandley, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Dandley works his way into full mount!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Dandley throws a sloppy strike and Hawk uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and Hawk has ended up in Dandley's guard.

Hawk must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dandley is on top in guard.

Dandley sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hawk's guard.

Dandley is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Hawk is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
