Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lager Lout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Finklestein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lager Lout has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lager Lout! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fedor Finklestein! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lout pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lout fails to land the takedown. Finklestein gets the takedown into side control. Finklestein landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Finklestein misses with the ground and pound. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Finklestein wants to control but Lout is keeping him busy. Finklestein scoring with punches and elbows. You can see the frustration on Lout's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Lout is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Finklestein has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Finklestein scoring with punches from side control. Lout can't do much from the bottom here. Lout knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Finklestein on the ground. Finklestein lands some shots froms side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Finklestein thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Finklestein lands a few punches from side control. Finklestein lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Finklestein looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Finklestein working the head and body with strikes. Lout trying to control but Finklestein flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Finklestein looking for the choke from the back. Finklestein controlling well, preventing Lout from escaping the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Finklestein is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Finklestein gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Finklestein gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Finklestein apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Finklestein gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Finklestein throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Lout has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Finklestein is proving hard to escape from. Lout stopping the sweep attempt from Finklestein. Finklestein throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Finklestein keeping moving, preventing Lout from controlling successfully. Finklestein looking for a sweep. Not yet Finklestein, not yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lout wants to control from the top but Finklestein keeps moving. Lout preventing the sweep. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Finklestein fails with the takedown and Lout counters with a takedown into side control. Finklestein looks gassed! Lout blocks the strikes from Finklestein.
Finklestein is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Lout is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Finklestein has escaped the position, nice work there. Lout wants to control but Finklestein is keeping him busy. Finklestein struggling a bit here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lout looking to control but instead Finklestein has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Finklestein wants to control but Lout is keeping busy and won't allow it. Lout wants to lay and pray for a moment but Finklestein keeps working.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Finklestein gets a takedown into half guard. Finklestein seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Finklestein lands a nice short elbow. Finklestein stops Lout from getting back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fedor Finklestein dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Finklestein gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Finklestein drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lout wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Lout tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Finklestein smiles and moves away.
Lout shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Finklestein napping and manages to drive through into side control! Finklestein is looking for a sweep. Finklestein gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Finklestein is trying to get back to full guard. Finklestein trying to control from the bottom.
Lout seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Finklestein does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Finklestein is looking for a sweep. Lout is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Finklestein keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Lout tries for a takedown but Finklestein circles away easily and Finklestein counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Lout! Lout on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lout tries to get out of the position. Finklestein is breathing heavily. Lout takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Finklestein wants to control the pace but Lout is squirming around nicely. A nice elbow there by Finklestein. Lout tries to hold on but Finklestein postures up. Finklestein working Lout over with strikes here. Finklestein with a couple of short strikes. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Finklestein wants to control the pace but Lout is squirming around nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Finklestein scoring with strikes but Lout is staying in there. Lout is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Finklestein working the ground and pound effectively.
Lout tries to lock up and control but Finklestein gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Finklestein lands with some strikes. Finklestein landing strikes, looking to finish! Lout is looking to get to half guard. Finklestein lands a heavy elbow.
Lout is rocked! Finklestein landing strikes from the mount and Lout is in trouble! Finklestein punishing his opponent with strikes. Oh Lout is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
