Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Thaddeus Manos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimi Patrick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Patrick has chosen Dropkick Murphys - I'm Shipping Up to Boston as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jimi Patrick will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patrick tries to clinch but Manos moves out of range.

Patrick lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Manos circles away quickly and effectively.
Patrick will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Manos drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Patrick dives on top into guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Manos is on top in guard.

Manos is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Patrick is surviving well by controlling Manos's body position as best he can.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Poor strikes thrown by Manos there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Manos is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Patrick can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Patrick is desperately trying to improve his position but Manos has a good base and remains in mount.

Patrick's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
