Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dingle Berrian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ariel Sabio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Edson Gomes and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berrian wants to slow Sabio down by chopping away at his legs.

Berrian walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Sabio shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Berrian manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Sabio drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Berrian dives on top into guard.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sabio has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sabio and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Berrian keeps control of the position as Sabio tries to break free.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Sabio crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Berrian - the referee stops the clock and Sabio gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Berrian. Sabio manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
