Chandler is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: I'm Not Afraid. Rashad Evans could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jakob Chandler's chin.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Chandler as Evans shoots in.
Evans tries to close the distance and clinch but Chandler swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Evans defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Chandler.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Evans.
Chandler tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Chandler manages to get back to half guard.
Chandler tries to kick Evans off but Evans keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Chandler is concentrating on defense, preventing Evans from advancing position.
Chandler regains full guard. Nicely done.
Chandler utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Evans postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Chandler is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Evans is controlling him.
Chandler manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Evans manages to get himself to full guard.

Evans is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Chandler defends well.
Evans on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Evans tries to get out of the position.

Evans wants to get back to his feet but Chandler is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Evans wants to control but Chandler passes easily into half guard.
Chandler seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Evans does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Chandler wants to clinch up but Evans keeps it at a distance.
Evans gets a takedown into half guard.
Evans not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Evans takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Evans slips a nice elbow through Chandler's hands, connecting with Chandler's forehead.
Chandler has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Evans is working away from the top position though.

Evans stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chandler swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Evans lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Evans chips away with some ground and pound.
Evans throws and elbow that misses. Chandler uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Evans's guard. Nice move by Chandler!
Chandler won't allow Evans to get back to his feet.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chandler walks into a stiff left hand from Evans.
Evans darts in and clinches Chandler up against the ropes.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Evans creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Evans fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Evans changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Chandler fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Evans shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Chandler has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Evans doesn't defend quickly enough and Chandler has managed to lock this one up! Can Evans escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Chandler on a fantastic submission victory.
