The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Diccico does no damage.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jr.
Diccico misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jr shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Diccico but Diccico pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Diccico has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Diccico takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Jr is in a horrible position here. Diccico smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Diccico works his foot free and advances to mount.
Jr takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Miguel Diccico dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Jr fails with the takedown
and Diccico counters with a big slam. Jr looks out but Diccico is landing strikes to his unconscious opponent! Eventually the ref steps in to save Jr from any more punishment. A brutal conclusion to the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Miguel Diccico!
