Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between ANDERSON SILVA (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joao Amaral (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joao Amaral told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Felipe Paraventi and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
SILVA has taken the fight to the clinch.
SILVA working hard to break the clinch.
SILVA has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Amaral is trying to keep an underhook but SILVA manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Amaral makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Amaral.
SILVA is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Amaral wants to sweep but no luck.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Amaral connects with a nice short shot to SILVA's temple.

SILVA throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

and Amaral decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in SILVA's guard.
