Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Dux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slick Ubber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dux's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Eye of the tiger. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Ubber looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Ubber looks for a takedown but Dux sprawls well. Dux shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Ubber pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Dux stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dux wants it to stay on the feet. Dux keeps the fight on the outside. Ubber tries to clinch up but Dux circles away and keeps his distance. Ubber closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Dux tries to score a body lock takedown but Ubber shows good agility there to stay on his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dux is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. It looks like Frank Dux has been cut. Dux has Ubber pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Dux pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Ubber tumbling to the mat - Dux dives into Ubber's guard. Dux postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Ubber holds on and takes a little breather. Dux throwing strikes from guard but Ubber blocks nicely. Dux missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Dux pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Dux pulls out of a head kick attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ubber shoots for a takedown but Dux saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Ubber tries to close the distance and clinch but Dux swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Ubber closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ubber lands in his opponent's guard. Dux looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ubber is one step ahead there. Ubber sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Dux's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dux wants to get back to his feet. Dux is trying to control but can't.
Ubber is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Ubber prevents Dux from improving his position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dux is pressing down on Ubber's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Frank Dux will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Frank Dux's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Ubber takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

That's one minute gone in the round. Ubber passes Dux's left leg - he's now in half guard. Ubber wants to stand up but Dux has a hold of him and won't allow it. Dux wants to control but Ubber is keeping busy.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Ubber trying to control the pace. Dux wants to improve his position but Ubber is controlling well.
Dux manages to escape and get back to his feet! Frank Dux is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ubber tries for a takedown but Dux circles away easily and Dux counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ubber won't be happy with that.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dux is working Ubber over with some ground and pound from side control. Dux working away. Dux is looking to take a break and control but Ubber is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ubber gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Dux wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ubber keeps working. Ubber manages to get to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Ubber keeping full guard, as Dux tries to pass. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ubber is trying to keep Dux in close.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Ubber fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dux avoids it really well and circles away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Dux dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Frank Dux's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. Ubber is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Dux slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Dux with a flurry of punches that miss. Dux is fighting to break Ubber's control of his arms but Ubber is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Ubber keeping moving, preventing Dux from controlling successfully. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dux accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dux preventing the sweep. Frank Dux is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Dux controls from within his opponent's guard. Dux's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Ubber looking for a sweep. Not yet Ubber, not yet. Ubber takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Ubber being controlled here, momentarily. Dux wants to pass the guard but Ubber is keeping the position. Dux trying to control but Ubber is working from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Frank Dux. Ubber tries to clinch but Dux moves away so Dux counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Ubber working for a triangle but Dux defends it easily.
Dux not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Dux trying to control but Ubber is working from the bottom. Ubber being controlled here, momentarily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dux slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Slick Ubber has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dux is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Ubber is not content to let Dux control the position. Ubber is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Dux's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Ubber is positioning himself well to prevent Dux advancing to mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Frank Dux showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dux, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
