The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Villar is trying to defend but Diaz finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Villar has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Diaz is working away from the top position though. Diaz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Villar keeps working. Diaz drops an elbow to the side of Villar's head.
