Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, ADRIAN ROBLES! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! ROBLES drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. King is trying to get back to half guard. ROBLES lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. ROBLES working away. King sneaks back into half guard. King keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. King flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
King moves into full guard.
King is looking for a triangle but ROBLES pushes his legs off easily.
ROBLES might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. ROBLES stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. King swivels though and keeps the full guard. ROBLES knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for King on the ground. King is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. ROBLES trying to control but King is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. ROBLES postures up.
ROBLES tries to free his leg and advance position but King is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. ROBLES postures up.
ROBLES wants to control from the top but King keeps moving. King tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. ROBLES tries to clinch up but King circles away and keeps his distance. King looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. King trying to control the position from guard on top but ROBLES is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. King pushing down on ROBLES's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. ROBLES is trying to stand.
King controlling the pace. Let's hope that King has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. King has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can ROBLES defend it? King steps over the head and cranks it - ROBLES is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for King!
