And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kelvin Landis!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Deely pushes Landis up against the cage in a clinch.
Landis is trying to stall.
Landis tries for a takedown. No joy.

Deely is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Landis can't fight it off and eventually Deely manages to take the fight to the floor. Landis looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Landis is trying to keep Deely in close.
Landis looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Deely sitting in guard here, content to control.
Deely has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Landis is proving hard to escape from.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Deely tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Deely misses with a takedown attempt - Landis sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Deely throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Landis tries for a takedown but Deely circles away easily
and Landis takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Deely darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Landis is looking to control Deely's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Landis avoid being mounted?

and Deely counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Landis's guard now.
Deely stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Landis swivels though and keeps the full guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Landis holds on and takes a little breather.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
