Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Shlemenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evan Dworshak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dworshak has chosen No Hands as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Alexander Shlemenko has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Alexander Shlemenko seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexander Shlemenko ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Evan Dworshak! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Ivan Kurochkin and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dworshak fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Dworshak shoots in for a double leg but Shlemenko sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Dworshak shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Shlemenko defends it nicely. Alexander Shlemenko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Evan Dworshak. Shlemenko throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Shlemenko 's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Shlemenko duly obliges. Dworshak shoots in for a takedown but Shlemenko shows good takedown defense. Shlemenko stuffs the takedown. Dworshak shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Shlemenko as he jumps to the side. Dworshak closes the distance and clinches up with Shlemenko , looking for a takedown. Dworshak pushes Shlemenko against the cage but Shlemenko circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Dworshak slips a jab and a cross from Shlemenko .

Alexander Shlemenko dominated that round. The cut man is working on Evan Dworshak's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Dworshak shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Shlemenko sprawls well. Shlemenko wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dworshak gets slowly back to his feet. Dworshak shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Shlemenko pinned against the cage. Shlemenko gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Dworshak changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Shlemenko tries to avoid it but Dworshak manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Shlemenko to the ground. Shlemenko escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Alexander Shlemenko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Evan Dworshak. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shlemenko tries to bum rush Dworshak with a series of wild strikes but Dworshak uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Dworshak is breathing heavily. Shlemenko connects with a high kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shlemenko defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Dworshak. Shlemenko connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Dworshak will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Shlemenko fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Dworshak. Alexander Shlemenko is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Shlemenko throws a front kick that sends Dworshak stumbling back into the cage. Shlemenko throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Shlemenko scores with a three punch combo!
Shlemenko 's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Shlemenko duly obliges. Dworshak is trying desperately to land a takedown but Shlemenko is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Dworshak.

Shlemenko lands with a kick to the temple. Dworshak shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Shlemenko stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Shlemenko lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Dworshak on the wrong end of a nice hook. Dworshak shoots in but Shlemenko avoids the takedown attempt easily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Shlemenko dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Dworshak. That did some damage! Shlemenko scores with a head kick.

Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Nice shot lands for Shlemenko . A head kick misses from Shlemenko . Shlemenko throws a nice looking combination but Dworshak bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Shlemenko misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dworshak closes this distance looking for a takedown but Shlemenko circles away. Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Dworshak might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Shlemenko has got the better of the exchanges.

Shlemenko bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Dworshak's head. Shlemenko lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Shlemenko . Dworshak shoots in and drives through. Shlemenko sprawls well. Evan Dworshak has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Alexander Shlemenko is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Shlemenko lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
And that's the end of the fight! Alexander Shlemenko showed his dominance in that final round. Well Shlemenko has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
