PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hiro Fang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy The Poodle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy left from The Poodle finds it's target.

It looks like Hiro Fang has been cut.
Fang lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Fang throws a shot from downtown. The Poodle moves away and avoids it.
Fang fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Oooh a lovely combination from The Poodle sends Fang down but not out. The Poodle dives into side control looking to finish.
The Poodle wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fang keeps working.
Fang might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Fang is trying to improve his position.
The Poodle creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Fang is looking to reverse the position.
The Poodle looks up at the clock and then as Fang takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, The Poodle smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Fang tries to improve position but can't.
Fang manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
The Poodle slips a nice elbow through Fang's hands, connecting with Fang's forehead.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The Poodle lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Hiro Fang's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fang is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The Poodle is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Jeez, Hiro Fang's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Hiro Fang's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
