Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anaconda Yadav (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Gross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Yadav might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Shayad. Anaconda Yadav has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Anaconda Yadav! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Matt Gross! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gross shoots in and drives through. Yadav sprawls well. Gross closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Nice body punch from Gross - that landed with a thud.
Gross has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Yadav regains guard immediately. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Yadav keeping full guard, as Gross tries to pass. Gross looking to sit in guard and control but Yadav gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Gross keeping moving, preventing Yadav from controlling successfully. Yadav is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Gross is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gross seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Yadav sitting in guard here, content to control. Gross looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Gross is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Yadav wants to control from the top but Gross keeps moving.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Anaconda Yadav. Gross shoots in and bounces Yadav off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gross throws a big right hand that misses. Gross slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Yadav wants to sweep here but Gross controlling him for the moment. Gross trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Gross lands a couple of digs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gross wants to control from the top but Yadav keeps moving. Gross throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Yadav works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Gross missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Gross throws a big right hand that misses. Gross working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Yadav's head. Gross stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Yadav has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Gross manages to get his head free but now Yadav has transitioned to an armbar! Gross grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Yadav! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Anaconda Yadav!
