Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roy Nelson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chuck Liddell!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Daniel Blasius and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to the liver by Liddell. Beautiful body shot.
Nelson needs to keep his hands up - Liddell had a free shot at his head there.
Nelson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Liddell was well out of range. Poor timing from Nelson.
Nelson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Liddell swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Liddell works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Nelson throws a leg kick but Liddell sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Liddell ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nelson moves away.
Liddell is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Liddell avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Liddell uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Nelson.
The fight stays on the outside here - Nelson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Nelson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Liddell manages to avoid it.
Nice defenses there by Liddell.
Liddell ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nelson moves away.
Nelson cracks Liddell with an open hand slap.
Nelson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Liddell sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Liddell checks a low kick from Nelson.
Liddell punishes Nelson's body with a nice straight punch.
Nelson throws a front kick aimed at Liddell's knee but Liddell avoids it well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Liddell with a nice cross.
Liddell swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Nelson.
Nelson lands with a straight right. Liddell didn't see that one coming.
Roy Nelson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fighters circle momentarily. Liddell darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Liddell changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Nelson misses with a shot to the body
and Liddell makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Nelson tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Liddell counters with a nice body shot.
Liddell is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Nelson rather than just go for the knockout.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nelson swings and misses with a shot to the body
letting Liddell counter with a right hand.
Liddell drops Nelson with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Nelson! Liddell dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
