Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Iblasin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonny Daze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Iblasin comes to the cage accompanied by Dream FC theme song. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jonny Daze! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Iblasin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Daze paws at him with a jab and circles away. Daze keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Iblasin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Daze sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Iblasin somewhat. Iblasin gets caught flat footed, as Daze shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Daze content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Daze chips away with some ground and pound. Iblasin might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Iblasin looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Daze puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Iblasin is looking to improve his position.

Iblasin misses with a takedown and Daze counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Iblasin's guard now. Iblasin shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Daze counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Iblasin keeping moving, preventing Daze from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Iblasin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Daze gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Daze sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Iblasin's guard. Iblasin tries to get to full guard but Daze has control of the leg. Iblasin looks like he's trying to stand up.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Iblasin scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Iblasin thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Daze makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Iblasin goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Daze's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Daze duly obliges. Iblasin tries for a takedown but Daze circles away easily and Daze counters with a head kick. That will keep Iblasin thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
