Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chance Killian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darwin Ang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Matti Vanhoillinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ang moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Killian tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ang was well out of range. Poor timing from Killian.
Ang changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Killian tries to avoid it but Ang manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Killian to the ground. Killian escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Chance Killian seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Killian lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Killian.

and Ang counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Ang.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ang wants to pass the guard but Killian is keeping the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ang is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Ang wants to lay and pray for a moment but Killian keeps working.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Ang throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Killian was covering up waiting for the punch and Ang finishes the takedown easily into guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Killian wants to stand up but Ang is controlling him.
Ang wants to stand and escape but instead Killian has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Killian gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Killian's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Killian misses with an uppercut. Ang saw that one coming.
Killian leaves Ang with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Ang drives through with a takedown into guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Ang postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Killian is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Ang, into his guard.

Ang pushes Killian off and gets back to his feet.

and Ang counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Ang is stalling in the full guard.

Ang decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Killian, up you get!
Killian fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ang manages to avoid it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Darwin Ang showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Killian's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Ang closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Killian to the mat! Killian manages to get full guard.
Ang stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Killian swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Ang throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Killian works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Ang controlling from the top position.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Ang won't allow Killian to get back to his feet.

Killian has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Ang off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Killian lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Ang ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Killian throws a left and a right that both miss

and Ang counters by clinching up.

Ang breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Ang misses with a head kick.
Ang misses with a takedown attempt - Killian sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Killian swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Ang counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Chance Killian is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Ang throws the kick towards the body but Killian avoids it.
Ang closes this distance looking for a takedown but Killian circles away.
Ang slips a jab from Killian.
Killian really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Ang looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Killian is fending him off so far but Ang persists. Nope, Killian circles away and we're back to standing.
Chance Killian has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Darwin Ang.

Darwin Ang is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well Ang has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
