de Leon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hazelwood scores a takedown into full mount!
Hazelwood wants to control but de Leon has made it back to half guard. Nice work.

de Leon thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

de Leon drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and de Leon jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hazelwood drops back, looking for a kneebar! de Leon looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. de Leon looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from de Leon!

Hazelwood tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Hazelwood has hold of de Leon's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and de Leon manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Hazelwood jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but de Leon manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Hazelwood is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but de Leon is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Hazelwood prevents de Leon from escaping the position.
de Leon wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Hazelwood has ideas of his own. He's got hold of de Leon's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! de Leon is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Hazelwood!
