Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Long Dong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pato Hortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pato Hortiz looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dong closes the distance and clinches up with Hortiz, looking for a takedown. Dong pushes Hortiz against the cage but Hortiz circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Hortiz looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Dong wants to clinch up but Hortiz keeps it at a distance.

The fight stays on the outside here - Dong looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Long Dong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dong had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Hortiz is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Dong Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Hortiz's back instead.
Dong is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Hortiz knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Hortiz for a finish.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Long Dong.
I think Hortiz has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
