Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harry Poppins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Poppins might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Mama Said Knock You Out. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poppins tries to clinch but Jones moves out of range.
Poppins wants to clinch.
Jones throws out a loose jab but Poppins uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ricardo Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones throws a shot from downtown. Poppins moves away and avoids it.
Poppins tries to clinch but Jones is having none of it.
Poppins displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jones throws out the jab.
A nice combination there by Jones.
It looks like Harry Poppins has been cut.
Poppins tries to close the distance and clinch but Jones swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Jones scores with a jab. Poppins acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Jones takes a swing at Poppins's ribcage but misses.

Poppins tries to close the distance and clinch but Jones swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Poppins looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jones wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Jones missing with a left hand there. Poppins was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Good standup being displayed there by Jones as he connects with a hook.
Poppins swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Jones counters with a big uppercut that knocks Poppins off his feet! Jones dives into side control looking to finish!
Poppins is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jones wants to lay and pray for a moment but Poppins keeps working.
Jones thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Poppins prevents Jones from improving position.
Jones is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Poppins is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Jones has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Jones creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Poppins sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Jones working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Poppins wants to get back to his feet.
Poppins is breathing heavily.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Poppins dodges the punch combination from Jones.
Poppins throws a combination that misses
and Jones counters with a straight right hand.
Harry Poppins's cut is getting worse.
Jones connects with a right hand. Poppins shakes it off.
Jones throws a shot from downtown. Poppins moves away and avoids it.

Jones connects with a jab.
Poppins has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jones finds it's way round the side to connect with Poppins's head.
Poppins throws a series of punches but Jones avoids them all with ease.
Jones ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Poppins moves away.
Poppins has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Poppins there as he acknowledges the shot.
Poppins ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Poppins walks into a jab.
Jones drops Poppins with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Poppins! Jones dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ricardo Jones!
