Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alonzo Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viloz Killuskas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Griffin comes to the cage accompanied by New York. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alonzo Griffin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Viloz Killuskas! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good leg kick by Killuskas there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Killuskas pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Griffin scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Killuskas tests Griffin's chin there with a solid looking shot. Killuskas throws a head kick that Griffin semi-blocks.
Griffin is rocked! Griffin dives in and grabs Killuskas's left leg, looking for a takedown. Killuskas pushes down on Griffin's head and hops out. Griffin lands a right hook to the body.
Griffin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Griffin landing strikes. Killuskas tries to improve position but can't. Griffin with the ground and pound but Killuskas regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Griffin thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Killuskas's head. Killuskas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Griffin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Griffin not landing any meaningful shots this time. Griffin throwing shots but Killuskas is blocking nicely. Griffin not landing any meaningful shots this time. Griffin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Killuskas gets back to full guard.
Griffin throws a strike but Killuskas rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's one minute gone in the round. Killuskas throws a big right hand that misses. Killuskas would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Griffin manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Killuskas manages to get himself to full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Griffin is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Killuskas wants to get back to his feet but Griffin is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Killuskas tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Griffin paws at him with a jab and circles away. Killuskas misses with an attempted mid kick.

Griffin takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Killuskas tries to clinch but Griffin is having none of it. Killuskas tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Griffin scores with a three punch combo!
It looks like Viloz Killuskas has been cut. Killuskas takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Griffin drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Griffin is breathing heavily. Killuskas avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Griffin is looking to work some ground and pound but Killuskas has wrist control. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Griffin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Griffin might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Griffin throws a big right hand that misses. Griffin tries to free his leg and advance position but Killuskas is retaining full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Griffin decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Killuskas, up you get! Griffin avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Killuskas tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Griffin paws at him with a jab and circles away. Killuskas wants to clinch up but Griffin keeps it at a distance. Killuskas looks to land a combination. Griffin sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Griffin has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Killuskas. Griffin circles away from the clinch attempt.
Griffin shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Killuskas sprawls well. Killuskas wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Griffin gets slowly back to his feet. Killuskas tries to close the distance and clinch but Griffin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Killuskas is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Killuskas tries to clinch but Griffin is having none of it. Killuskas is looking to clinch but Griffin is avoiding it.
Killuskas keeps Griffin at a distance using the push kick. Killuskas thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Griffin if he has to take too many more of those.
Killuskas tries to close the distance and clinch up but Griffin swats him away and circles back towards the center. A head kick misses from Killuskas. Killuskas tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Griffin throws a series of punches but Killuskas moves out of range. Killuskas lands with a slapping head kick. Viloz Killuskas is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Killuskas tries to clinch there but Griffin circles away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Killuskas lands a high kick!
Killuskas fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Griffin. Griffin looks to throw the jab but Killuskas is out of range. Killuskas lands a nice looking body kick. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Killuskas throws a nice inside leg kick. Killuskas tries to clinch there but Griffin circles away.

Killuskas lands with a kick to the temple. Griffin shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Oh Griffin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Killuskas is looking to clinch but Griffin is avoiding it.
Killuskas drops Griffin with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Griffin! Killuskas dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (strikes). Viloz Killuskas!
