Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tanishk Soni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Russell Bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 7 - 1, fighting out of London, Tanishk Soni! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Russell Bell! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bell avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bell tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. The fight moves into the clinch position. Soni works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Soni breaks the clinch.
Soni closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Soni breaks the clinch.
Soni attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Bell moves out of range as Soni throws a body kick.
Bell throws a series of punches but Soni avoids them all with ease. Soni thows a body shot but no joy. Soni tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Bell scores with a jab. Soni acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Bell moves in looking to clinch but Soni pushes him off. Excellent takedown into side control there by Soni.
That's one minute gone in the round. Soni controlling the position. Soni will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Bell is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Soni has just dragged him back down to the mat. Bell is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Bell seems a little lost for a moment, as Soni dominates the positioning. Bell is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Soni asserts his dominance and retains side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Soni, right into the meat.
Russell Bell is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Soni looks to land a combination. Bell sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Soni closes the distance and lands a one-two. Bell walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Soni shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bell pinned against the cage. Bell gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Soni shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bell's guard. Bell is looking to stand back up but Soni counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Bell. Bell tries to kick Soni off but Soni keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Soni wants to pass to mount but Bell is defending the position. Soni stops Bell from getting back to his feet.
Bell is not content to let Soni control the position. Bell tries to kick Soni off in order to stand up. Soni Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. And thats the end of the round the fighters go back to their corners.
Tanishk Soni dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Bell avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Soni tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Tanishk Soni seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Soni shoots for a double leg takedown but Bell sprawls well. He's pushed Soni's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Tanishk Soni is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Soni uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Bell missing with a left hand there. Soni was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. A swing and a miss from Soni. Bell throws a leg kick and Soni counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bell! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bell wants to get back to his feet.
Soni tries to control but Bell wriggling away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bell is trying to stand. Soni controlling his opponent. Bell tries to buck Soni off so he can stand up but Soni has got his back now - this could be big trouble! He's slapped on a rear naked choke that looks really tight! Bell falls backwards, slamming Soni to the mat but Soni holds on tight! Bell is forced to tap and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Tanishk Soni! Tanishk Soni retains his light heavyweight title!
