Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Blacky Chan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and swg le fay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chan kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Can't believe it. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, swg le fay!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Hugh Johnson and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
le fay connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Chan momentarily.

le fay looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

le fay drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and le fay jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Chan is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst le fay is controlling him.

Chan is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
le fay goes for a takedown attempt but Chan pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Chan moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Chan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from le fay.
Chan takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Chan ducks under a wild hook from le fay.
Donk. Chan catches le fay right on the button with a cross.

le fay gets the takedown into side control.

le fay tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Chan wants to control but le fay postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Chan is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

le fay is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Chan is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Chan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for le fay on the ground.

le fay tries for a kimura but Chan is defending well.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

le fay has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Chan is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. le fay yanks on the arm and Chan is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by le fay.
