Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Urijah Faber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Jones II (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Urijah Faber! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Matt Jones II! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones II tries to close the distance and clinch but Faber swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Faber takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Jones II keeps the fight on the outside. A left lands for Faber. Jones II tries to clinch but Faber moves away and Faber counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Faber. Jones II lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Jones II gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Faber.
Jones II is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Jones II lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
