Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Damage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Schlemenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Max Damage could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Igor Schlemenko's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Max Damage! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Igor Schlemenko! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schlemenko throws out a loose jab but Damage uses good head movement to avoid it. Damage drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Damage tries to free his leg and advance position but Schlemenko is retaining full guard. Damage slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Damage wants to control from the top but Schlemenko keeps moving. Damage is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Schlemenko is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Damage looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Damage passes Schlemenko's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schlemenko missing with punches from the bottom.
Damage tries to pass the half guard into mount. Schlemenko knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Damage is taking a breather. Schlemenko says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Schlemenko is trying to stand up here but Damage is controlling him well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Damage looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Schlemenko is in trouble now - Damage has advanced to mount! Damage content just to control the position here. Schlemenko is trying to escape the mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Schlemenko flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Damage takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Damage has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Max Damage just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Schlemenko is looking to clinch. Damage decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Damage is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Damage is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Schlemenko is just riding it out for now. Damage eventually gives up the hold. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Schlemenko wants to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Max Damage dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
A nice inside leg kick there by Schlemenko. That's going to slow Damage down. Damage shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Damage showed some decent athleticism there. Damage trying to pass the guard but Schlemenko defending well. Damage sitting and controlling from the half guard. Schlemenko is looking to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schlemenko is looking to escape. Damage is controlling the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Schlemenko has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Damage is working away from the top position though. Schlemenko tries to get to full guard but Damage has control of the leg. Schlemenko is breathing heavily. Schlemenko wants to get back to his feet.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Damage rushes Schlemenko and presses him up against the cage. Schlemenko throws a knee to the head but misses.
Damage gets a trip takedown into half guard. Damage controlling the pace.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Damage is nestled in close to Schlemenko, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Still in half guard, Damage seems content to control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Max Damage. Damage slips under a jab. Damage closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Schlemenko to the mat! Schlemenko manages to get full guard. Schlemenko is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Damage defends well. Damage controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Max Damage dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Damage clinches up with Schlemenko and pushes him back against the cage. Schlemenko is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Damage is defending well for now. Damage keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Schlemenko's efforts to push away. Damage could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Schlemenko is trying to force a seperation but Damage has the dominant position. Schlemenko tries to circle away but Damage has him pinned against the cage. Schlemenko jumps guard but Damage stands there with Schlemenko around his waist. Schlemenko gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Damage is trying to trip Schlemenko. He has hold of a leg but Schlemenko is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Damage persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Damage slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Schlemenko takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Damage passes easily into side control. Nice work. Damage staying calm. Schlemenko is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Schlemenko is letting Damage control him for a moment.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Max Damage. Schlemenko throws a head kick but Damage moves out of range.
Damage sizes up Schlemenko with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Damage looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Damage is pushing down on Schlemenko's leg trying to pass to half guard. Schlemenko is fighting to maintain full guard but Damage has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Damage perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Damage passes the guard and advances to mount! Max Damage is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Damage controlling the pace for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
And that's the end of the fight! Max Damage showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Damage, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
