Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Dvargledare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Rader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dvargledare comes to the ring accompanied by they might be giants. Rader has chosen His Own Fight Video as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Justin Rader was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Justin Rader! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shirou Masuda and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rader scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Rader closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dvargledare to the mat! Dvargledare manages to get full guard. Rader postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rader accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Rader tries to free his leg and advance position but Dvargledare is retaining full guard. Dvargledare looking to control.
Dvargledare really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill... A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rader accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Dvargledare working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Rader. Rader postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Rader throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Rader scoring with some ground and pound. Dvargledare preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Dvargledare might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Rader postures up in Dvargledare's guard and throws a big left but Dvargledare blocks it. Rader working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dvargledare not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Dvargledare wants to sweep here but Rader controlling him for the moment. Dvargledare is breathing heavily. Rader postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Rader content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Rader throwing strikes but missing. Dvargledare keeping moving, preventing Rader from controlling successfully. Rader throwing strikes but missing. Rader throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dvargledare works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Rader throwing strikes but missing. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Dvargledare tries to clinch up. Rader tries to clinch there but Dvargledare circles away.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Rader throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Rader lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Rader lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Dvargledare down.
Rader throws an elbow but Dvargledare slips to the side and avoids it well. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Rader creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Dvargledare sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Dvargledare taking punishment in the form of punches.

Rader scores with punches from side control. Dvargledare sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Dvargledare blocking the ground and pound attempt from Rader. Rader has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Rader looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Rader has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Dvargledare defend it? Rader steps over the head and cranks it - Dvargledare is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Rader!
