Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frank Crocco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cung Le (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Le.

Le tries to advance to mount but Crocco denies him.
Le connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Crocco some visible discomfort.
Crocco takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Crocco tries to strike but it doesn't land.
Crocco is not content to let Le control the position.
Le cracks Crocco with a big elbow.

Le working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Le creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Le cracks Crocco with a big right hand but Crocco just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Le lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Crocco down.

Le is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Crocco can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Crocco wants to hold on but Le pushes him away.

Le has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Crocco's face.

Crocco wants to control his opponent's hands but Le gets his hands free.

Le is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Le gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Le gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Le apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Le misses with a takedown attempt - Crocco sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Le lands a huge takedown. Crocco is out but the ref is slow to react and Le lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Crocco lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
