Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Adskiy Bampopecheni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenji Kazan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Adskiy Bampopecheni! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenji Kazan! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bampopecheni's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Bampopecheni duly obliges. Bampopecheni lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kazan circles away quickly and effectively. A punch combination from Bampopecheni misses. Kazan rushes Bampopecheni and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Kazan is working for takedown but Bampopecheni is calmly controlling the position for now. Bampopecheni can't break the clinch.

Bampopecheni has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Kazan has Bampopecheni pressed against the cage, preventing Bampopecheni from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Bampopecheni is looking to break free of the clinch but Kazan has double underhooks. Bampopecheni working hard to break the clinch. Bampopecheni wants to break the clinch but can't.
Bampopecheni is trying to break the clinch but Kazan is controlling him. Kazan goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bampopecheni prevents it.

Kazan works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Kazan is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Kazan wants to control from the top but Bampopecheni keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bampopecheni is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Kazan trying to control the position from guard on top but Bampopecheni is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bampopecheni wants to stand and escape but Kazan is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kazan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kazan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Bampopecheni is wriggling around but Kazan manages to pass to half guard.
Bampopecheni is looking to escape.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Bampopecheni throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Kazan moves into range and clinches up with Bampopecheni. Bampopecheni tries to land a knee to the head but Kazan blocks with his arms.
Bampopecheni is breathing heavily. Bampopecheni tries to circle away but Kazan has him pinned against the cage. Bampopecheni can't break the clinch.
Kazan is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Kazan keeps control of Bampopecheni as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bampopecheni can't break the clinch.
Kazan prevents Bampopecheni from breaking the clinch. Kazan has hold of one of Bampopecheni's legs. Bampopecheni is fighting the takedown attempt but Kazan gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Kazan trying to control but Bampopecheni is working from the bottom. Kazan is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Bampopecheni wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Kazan manages to pass to side control. Kazan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bampopecheni does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kazan is looking for a kimura here.
