Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stefan Struve (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taras Stanislav (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Struve comes to the cage accompanied by Celldweller - Switchback . Taras Stanislav told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Taras Stanislav!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Igor Prikhodko and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Struve is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Stanislav.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Stanislav looks to land a left hand but Struve moved out of range nicely.
Stanislav misses with a wild combination.
Struve throws a right hand that Stanislav ducks under and follows up with a left that Stanislav also avoids with ease.
Struve loads up on a big right hand but Stanislav slips the punch.
Struve tries to bum rush Stanislav with a series of wild strikes but Stanislav uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Stanislav misses with a double jab
and Struve makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Stanislav really felt that one!

Struve dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Stanislav. That did some damage!
Stanislav throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Stanislav circles away from the clinch attempt.
Stanislav throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Struve.
Stefan Struve seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Struve ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Struve moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Struve connects with the punch.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Struve.
A solid leg kick lands there for Struve.
Struve misses with a double jab
and Stanislav counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Struve tries to clinch up.
Struve stalks Stanislav and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Stanislav's face. Stanislav staggers backwards, shaken.
Struve throws a quick inside leg kick.
Struve throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Stanislav throws a lazy right hand but Struve sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Taras Stanislav is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Stanislav lands a right hook to the body.
Struve lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Stanislav tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Struve throws a leg kick which misses Stanislav's front leg but catches the back leg as Stanislav tries to avoid it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Struve wants to clinch up but Stanislav keeps it at a distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Stanislav takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Stanislav chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Struve can pounce on him.
A telegraphed right hand from Struve misses the target.
Struve throws a nice inside leg kick.
Stanislav falls off balance throwing a combination
and Struve counters with a flying knee. Nice.

Struve dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Stanislav. That did some damage!
Stanislav connects with a jab.
Struve tries to clinch up but Stanislav circles away and keeps his distance.
Struve throws a predictable looking body shot
enabling Stanislav to counter with a crisp jab.
Stanislav throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Struve scores with a leg kick.
Stanislav misses with a looping left.
Struve connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Struve wants to clinch.
Struve turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Struve lands with a thumping leg kick.
Struve misses with a combination
and Stanislav counters with a one-two to the body.
Struve fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

The fighters circling - Struve throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Stanislav's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Stanislav misses with a jab, cross combination.
Struve is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Struve fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Stanislav.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stefan Struve dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Stanislav takes a swing at Struve's ribcage but misses.
Struve throws a head kick that Stanislav semi-blocks.
Stanislav moves out of range of the body kick from Struve.
The fighters circle momentarily. Stanislav darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Nice uppercut there from Stanislav.
A good leg kick by Struve.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A slapping body kick lands there for Struve.
Struve shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Stanislav manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Struve drops back, looking for a kneebar! Stanislav looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Stanislav looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Stanislav!
Struve is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Stanislav off and has taken his back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Struve has his arm under Stanislav's chin here. Game over son! Struve squeezes tightly and Stanislav is forced to tap out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:04 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Stefan Struve!
