Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brenden Tully (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Catcher Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tully comes to the cage accompanied by Open Your Eyes. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brenden Tully !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Catcher Freeman!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Tully shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Tully was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Freeman really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Freeman is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Tully is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Freeman has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Tully has control of Freeman's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Freeman regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Tully is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Freeman can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Freeman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tully . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Freeman is looking for a sweep.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Freeman can do anything to dispel that myth.
Freeman is trying to get back to his feet.

Tully is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Freeman is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Freeman is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Freeman darts in and clinches Tully up against the cage.

Freeman keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Freeman throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tully .
Freeman moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Brenden Tully is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Tully has Freeman up against the cage in a clinch.

Freeman blocks an uppercut.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Tully goes for a takedown in the clinch but Freeman prevents it.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Tully keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Freeman's efforts to push away.

Freeman cracks Tully with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Tully will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
No joy there for Freeman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Freeman swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Freeman shoots in but Tully avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Tully tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Freeman lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tully circles away quickly and effectively.
A punch combination from Freeman misses.

Tully closes this distance looking for a takedown but Freeman circles away.

Freeman stuffs the takedown.

Freeman misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tully .
Freeman moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Tully shoots for a double leg takedown but Freeman sprawls well. He's pushed Tully 's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Tully won't allow Freeman to sweep him here.

Tully has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Freeman is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Tully yanks on the arm and Freeman is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Tully .
