The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Next with that takedown attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dressmaker looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Next closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Next is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Dressmaker has escaped the position, nice work there.
Dressmaker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Next. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Next tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Next has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Next has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Dressmaker is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Next yanks on the arm and Dressmaker is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Next.
