Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Enrique Mendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manny Pacquiao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mendez comes to the cage accompanied by Juno Reactor - Pistolero. Pacquiao has chosen para sayo ang laban na ito! as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pacquiao takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Pacquiao throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
A punch combination from Mendez misses.
Mendez throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pacquiao.
Pacquiao scores with a punch to the head.
Mendez throws the left hand but Pacquiao avoids the punch easily.
Pacquiao looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Pacquiao swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Mendez counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Pacquiao misses with a hook.
Pacquiao tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mendez swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Mendez slips a jab from Pacquiao.
Mendez throws the left hand but Pacquiao avoids the punch easily.

and Pacquiao counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Mendez fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Enrique Mendez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A looping hook to the body misses from Mendez. Pacquiao does a little dance to reset his feet.
Mendez takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Pacquiao looks to throw the jab but Mendez is out of range.
Oh Mendez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mendez misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Pacquiao will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Pacquiao moves out of range as Mendez strikes.

Pacquiao wants to clinch up but Mendez keeps it at a distance.

Pacquiao waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Mendez. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Mendez to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

Pacquiao decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Mendez, up you get!

Pacquiao takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Pacquiao throws a series of punches but Mendez moves out of range.
Mendez throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Pacquiao sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A right-left combo lands from Mendez.

Pacquiao bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mendez's head backwards.
Pacquiao steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Mendez is out on his feet! Pacquiao sets himself and nearly takes Mendez's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
