Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Erick Dela Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Baker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Baker's choice of entrance music: Led Zeppelin - Achilles Last Stand. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dela Cruz tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Baker bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Baker tries to move to mount but Dela Cruz blocks the move with his legs.

That's time! Dela Cruz's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Baker tries to bum rush Dela Cruz with a series of wild strikes but Dela Cruz uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Baker decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Dela Cruz's guard.
Dela Cruz knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Baker on the ground.
Baker stands and throws Dela Cruz's legs to the side, diving into side control.

BOOM! Baker connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Dela Cruz is bucking up trying to escape but Baker cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Baker cracks Dela Cruz with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Baker is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Dela Cruz is forced to tap! Great finish!
