The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neproski shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dong pinned against the cage. Dong gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Dong tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Neproski tries to clinch up but Dong circles away and keeps his distance.

Neproski gets the takedown into side control.
Dong on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dong tries to get out of the position.
Dong regains half guard, as Neproski was trying to land strikes.
Neproski seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Neproski winds up and cracks Dong with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Neproski tries to close the distance and clinch but Dong swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mainto Neproski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
