Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sean Hughes!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Anthony Taglia and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hughes lands a big head kick that sends gunn tumbling to the mat! Hughes takes a step backwards and waves gunn back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like tommy gunn has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hughes misses with a head kick.
Good leg kick by Hughes there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Hughes throws a half hearted mid kick.
gunn closes the distance and clinches up with Hughes, looking for a takedown. gunn pushes Hughes against the cage but Hughes circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Hughes throws a sloppy head kick and gunn moves out of range easily.
Some bone on bone action there as gunn checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

gunn shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hughes sprawls well. Hughes wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. gunn gets slowly back to his feet.

Hughes throws a wild body kick that gunn sees coming a mile off.

Some bone on bone action there as gunn checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

gunn shoots in and bounces Hughes off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
gunn drops back looking for a leg! Hughes is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hughes manages to kick gunn off! gunn jumps back into Hughes's guard.
Hughes wants to get back to his feet but gunn is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Hughes got a little sloppy there for a moment and gunn has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hughes has managed to get both his arms back between gunn's legs - danger averted.
Hughes wants to get up but he can't break gunn's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

gunn working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hughes doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hughes manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Hughes, right into the meat.
gunn tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Hughes with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Hughes does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
