Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yoshihiro Nakamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rc Ilag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rc Ilag!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ilag will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Ilag has his takedown stuffed

Nakamura seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Ilag for as long as he can get away with.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!



Nakamura feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Ilag is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Ilag is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Nakamura is controlling him.
Nakamura postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Ilag pushes Nakamura away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Nakamura gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Nakamura prevents Ilag from escaping the position.

And that's the end of the fight!
Yoshihiro Nakamura showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Nakamura, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
