Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jim McAllister!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Sam Margolis and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McAllister tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Davis was well out of range. Poor timing from McAllister.

McAllister feints and as Davis raises his hands in defense, McAllister changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McAllister working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
McAllister postures up in Davis's guard and throws a big left but Davis blocks it.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McAllister accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

McAllister is working Davis over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Davis bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in McAllister's guard.
Davis prevents McAllister from getting back to his feet.
Davis wants to control from the top but McAllister keeps moving.
McAllister looking for a sweep. Not yet McAllister, not yet.
Davis will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Davis throws a combination but it was largely blocked by McAllister.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

McAllister shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Davis's guard.

McAllister throws a big right hand that misses.
McAllister postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McAllister accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Davis pulls McAllister in to control the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Davis misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Davis bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Davis tries to clinch up but McAllister circles away and keeps his distance.
Davis tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but McAllister paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Davis is looking to clinch.
McAllister avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
McAllister is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Davis.
Davis wants to clinch.
Davis tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Davis tries to close the distance and clinch but McAllister swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Davis fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Davis throws a nice looking combination but McAllister bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
McAllister shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
McAllister thows a body shot but no joy.
Davis tries to close the distance and clinch but McAllister swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Davis misses with a hook. McAllister ducked under it nicely.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Davis lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and McAllister has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from McAllister and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Davis slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.


That has opened up Jim McAllister's cut even more.
Davis swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

McAllister avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The fight stays on the outside here - Davis looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
McAllister fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Davis looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

McAllister shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Davis napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Davis has hold of McAllister's hands but McAllister slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
McAllister wants to pass to mount but Davis is defending the position.
McAllister is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
McAllister wants to take a breather but Davis is having none of it.

Excellent takedown into side control there by McAllister.
McAllister misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

McAllister drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
McAllister looking to sit in guard and control but Davis gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Davis wants to pass the guard but McAllister is keeping the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Neville Davis.
I think Davis has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
