Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Matt Bismol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cane Gairzinio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bismol's entrance music is Here Comes The Pain. A fine choice. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Cane Gairzinio!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Chris Edwards and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bismol fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bismol throws a hook but Gairzinio avoids it easily.
Gairzinio scores with a takedown into Bismol's guard.

Bismol bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gairzinio's guard.
Bismol wants to control from the top but Gairzinio keeps moving.
Bismol drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Gairzinio manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bismol has Gairzinio in his guard.
Bismol escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gairzinio gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gairzinio really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bismol. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bismol has his foot on Gairzinio's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Gairzinio works his way back into a safe position though.

Bismol has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Gairzinio is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Bismol.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Matt Bismol.
Well Gairzinio has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
