Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Con Dumas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Vitali Emeliananko! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Emeliananko looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Dumas! Emeliananko with shots to the head and body - Dumas looks very uncomfortable down there.
It looks like Con Dumas has been cut. Emeliananko working for a guillotine from mount but Dumas is in no mood to give up. Dumas wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Emeliananko.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Dumas can't escape the position.
Dumas is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Dumas really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Emeliananko has control of Dumas's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Dumas regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Emeliananko thowing shots but they're missing. Emeliananko is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Dumas is surviving well by controlling Emeliananko's body position as best he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Emeliananko trying to control but Dumas is having none of it. Emeliananko looking to secure an arm triangle but Dumas defends it well. Emeliananko jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Dumas manages to avoid the submission attempt. Emeliananko looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Emeliananko working the ground and pound from side control. Dumas manages to work his way to half guard, despite Emeliananko's best efforts. Dumas trying to hold on to Emeliananko's head to control him but Emeliananko postures up.
Dumas is looking for a sweep. Emeliananko is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Emeliananko is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dumas doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Emeliananko. Dumas is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Emeliananko pulls his head out easily. Emeliananko wants to work for an arm triangle but Dumas is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dumas wants to get back to full guard. Dumas looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Dumas works his way to full guard. Good work. Dumas utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Dumas striking off his back. Emeliananko lands a couple of decent looking shots. Dumas is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Emeliananko defends well. Dumas working for a triangle but Emeliananko defends it easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Dumas taking a bit of punishment here - Emeliananko scoring with strikes. Emeliananko is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Dumas is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Dumas is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Emeliananko seems to be looking for submissions.
Emeliananko thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Dumas's head. Emeliananko is trying to control the action in half guard but Dumas is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Emeliananko throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Dumas is looking to improve his position.
Dumas wants to control but Emeliananko is keeping busy and won't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vitali Emeliananko dominated that round. The cut man is working on Con Dumas's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Dumas feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Emeliananko controls Dumas momentarily but Dumas frees himself. Emeliananko is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dumas defends well. Emeliananko has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Emeliananko is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Dumas throwing strikes but missing. Emeliananko looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Dumas passes Emeliananko's left leg - he's now in half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Emeliananko actively working from the bottom here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dumas passes to side control. Emeliananko is not content to let Dumas control the position. The ground and pound from Dumas seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Emeliananko struggling a bit here. Emeliananko is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Dumas is staying active. Dumas is looking to take a break and control but Emeliananko is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Vitali Emeliananko has got the better of the ground game so far.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Emeliananko gets a takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dumas is pressing down on Emeliananko's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Dumas throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

It's a sloppy attempt though and Emeliananko jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Dumas is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Dumas trying to keep a closed guard but Emeliananko is proving a slippery customer.
Dumas keeping moving, preventing Emeliananko from controlling successfully. Emeliananko got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dumas has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Emeliananko has managed to get both his arms back between Dumas's legs - danger averted. Dumas wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Emeliananko is now in half guard. Dumas wants to control but Emeliananko is keeping busy.
Emeliananko wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dumas keeps working.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Emeliananko throws a right and a left that both miss.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Dumas stuffs the takedown attempt from Emeliananko. Emeliananko gets slowly back to his feet. Dumas slaps away a takedown attempt from Emeliananko, before circling back to the center of the mat. Dumas shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Emeliananko's guard. Dumas drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dumas jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Emeliananko trying to keep a closed guard but Dumas is proving a slippery customer.
Dumas passes Emeliananko's left leg - he's now in half guard. Dumas is looking to advance position but Emeliananko won't allow it. Emeliananko slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Con Dumas dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Con Dumas's cut. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Emeliananko throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dumas. Emeliananko moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Dumas shoots in but Emeliananko avoids the takedown attempt easily. Emeliananko lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Dumas backs up against the cage.
Emeliananko shoots in and bounces Dumas off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Dumas looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Emeliananko wants to control from the top but Dumas keeps moving. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Dumas is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Dumas looking for subs off his back but Emeliananko has passed one foot through into half guard.
Emeliananko is nestled in close to Dumas, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Emeliananko is looking for a kimura here.
Dumas is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Emeliananko's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Emeliananko's back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Dumas doesn't have the hooks in and Emeliananko manages to turn into his guard.
Dumas not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Emeliananko wants to control from the top but Dumas keeps moving. Emeliananko missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Emeliananko controlling from the top position. Dumas looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Emeliananko thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Dumas has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Emeliananko should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Dumas has tightened it up now! Emeliananko should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
