The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conceicao with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
A combination from Conceicao does no damage.

Franken decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Conceicao pushes Franken off looking to stand but Franken dives back in and keeps control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Franken is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Conceicao is just riding it out for now. Franken eventually gives up the hold.

Conceicao somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!
Conceicao throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Franken.

Franken looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Conceicao is fending him off so far but Franken persists. Nope, Conceicao circles away and we're back to standing.

Franken throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Conceicao has his hands clasped together but Franken breaks the hold and Conceicao is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Franken!
