Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sven Jagermeister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daisuke Suzuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Suzuki comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Stranglehold by Ted Nugent kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Daisuke Suzuki has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sven Jagermeister!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Daisuke Suzuki!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suzuki fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Jagermeister thuds his right hand into Suzuki's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Suzuki lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Suzuki shoots in for a takedown but Jagermeister shows good takedown defense.
Suzuki takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jagermeister lands a left and a right that send Suzuki crashing to the mat, dazed. Jagermeister thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Daisuke Suzuki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Suzuki with a flurry of punches that miss.
Suzuki lands a couple of elbows.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
