0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Marco Del Arlio! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Steve Erwin and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Del Arlio scores a takedown into full mount! Del Arlio looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Conoray is wriggling around trying to escape.
Conoray is in a horrible position here. Del Arlio smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Marco Del Arlio dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Conoray gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Del Arlio to score an easy takedown into full guard. Conoray striking off his back but it's not causing Del Arlio any problems. Conoray pushes Del Arlio off and scrambles back to his feet.
Del Arlio lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Conoray circles away quickly and effectively. Conoray misses with a takedown attempt and Del Arlio counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Del Arlio with a flurry of punches that miss. Conoray working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Del Arlio doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Del Arlio manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Del Arlio is pushing down on Conoray's leg trying to pass to half guard. Conoray is fighting to maintain full guard but Del Arlio has managed to sneak the leg through. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Del Arlio trying to pass the guard but Conoray defending well. Del Arlio is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Del Arlio is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Conoray still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Conoray has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Marco Del Arlio has got the better of the ground game so far. Conoray decides to stand up, so the ref orders Del Arlio to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Conoray closes this distance looking for a takedown but Del Arlio circles away. Del Arlio gets a takedown into half guard. Conoray actively working from the bottom here. Conoray tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Del Arlio winds up and cracks Conoray with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Del Arlio drops an elbow to the side of Conoray's head. Del Arlio missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Conoray wants to control but Del Arlio is keeping busy.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Conoray trying to control but Del Arlio postures up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Del Arlio shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Conoray escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Del Arlio gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Conoray working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Del Arlio. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marco Del Arlio showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Del Arlio steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Conoray. That one must have hurt. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Del Arlio. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Conoray tries to clinch but Del Arlio is having none of it. Kurt Conoray seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Conoray doesn't succeed with the takedown and Del Arlio counters with a stiff right hand. Conoray swats away the attempt to clinch by Del Arlio. Conoray looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Conoray trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Del Arlio looking for a sweep. Not yet Del Arlio, not yet. Conoray stands up and waves to Del Arlio to follow him. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice takedown defense from Del Arlio. No joy for Conoray on that attempt. Del Arlio tries to clinch there but Conoray circles away.
Horrible takedown by Del Arlio or perhaps it was just good defense by Conoray which made him look bad. Conoray changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Del Arlio tries to avoid it but Conoray manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Del Arlio to the ground. Del Arlio escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kurt Conoray. That's going to take a lot out of him. Conoray with a poor takedown and Del Arlio decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Conoray's guard. Del Arlio working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Conoray's head. Del Arlio stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Conoray swivels though and keeps the full guard. Del Arlio connects with a couple of short punches. Del Arlio gets to his feet - Conoray follows without any prompting.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Conoray tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Conoray gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Del Arlio pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Conoray is keeping the position for now. Conoray is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Del Arlio is looking to improve his position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Conoray doesn't succeed with the takedown and Del Arlio counters with a takedown into side control. Conoray tries to improve position but can't. Del Arlio cracks Conoray with a big elbow. Conoray wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Del Arlio lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Conoray down.
Del Arlio decides to stand up, so the ref orders Conoray to his feet. Del Arlio shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Del Arlio moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Conoray has worked his arm free - good work by Conoray!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Del Arlio is chipping away with strikes.
Del Arlio cracks Conoray with a big right hand but Conoray just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Sloppy strikes there by Del Arlio. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Del Arlio has knee on belly and moves into mount. A nice elbow there by Del Arlio.
And that's the end of the fight! Marco Del Arlio comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Del Arlio has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
