Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Clyde Morse!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Andersen Koscheck!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Matheus Silva and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morse shoots in and drives through. Koscheck sprawls well.
Koscheck works over Morse's head and body with a nice combination.


It looks like Clyde Morse has been cut.
Koscheck scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Morse doesn't seem bothered though.
Morse looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Morse is breathing heavily.
Koscheck fails in his attempt to clinch.
Koscheck scores with a shot to the body.

Koscheck moves into the clinch successfully.
Koscheck lands an uppercut.
Koscheck pushes Morse back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Koscheck lands an uppercut.
Morse fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clyde Morse. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A right hand to the body from Koscheck.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Koscheck stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Koscheck working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Koscheck using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Morse has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Still in the clinch, Koscheck scores with a nice short uppercut.
Koscheck makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Morse takes a shot to the head.
Morse tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Koscheck just stands there and leans against the cage.
Koscheck has Morse pushed against the cage.
Morse working hard to break the clinch.

Koscheck breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Koscheck fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Morse, pushing him back against the cage.
Koscheck prevents the takedown attempt.
Morse jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Koscheck walks away with a smile on his face. Morse gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Koscheck moves into the clinch.
Morse tries for a takedown. No joy.
Koscheck has Morse pressed against the cage.
Koscheck digs a right hand underneath Morse's ribcage. Morse let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Nice body punch from Koscheck.
Koscheck lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Morse backwards.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Still in the clinch, Koscheck scores with a nice short uppercut.
Koscheck makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Stalling in the clinch from Koscheck.
A shot in the inside from Koscheck.

Koscheck has picked Morse up - he's going for a ride! Koscheck dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Koscheck keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Let's hope that Koscheck has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Koscheck stands up and beckons Morse to join him on the feet.
Koscheck tries to clinch there but Morse circles away.
Koscheck throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Koscheck connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Morse! He's out on his feet! Koscheck rushes in and drops Morse with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Andersen Koscheck!
