The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fusejima moves forwards but Nelson connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Nelson scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Fusejima checks the leg kick nicely there.
Fusejima tries to clinch up but Nelson circles away and keeps his distance.
Nelson throws a right and a left that Fusejima avoids nicely.
A big left from Nelson misses.
Fusejima fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nelson manages to avoid it.
Nelson throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Nelson misses with the combination.
Fusejima takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Fusejima gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
This has been an exciting period of action!

A slapping leg kick lands for Nelson.
A telegraphed right hand from Nelson misses the target.
Nelson connects with a body shot.
Nelson lands a hook that stumbles Fusejima back into the cage. Nelson follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Fusejima to the canvas! Nelson pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Fusejima has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
