Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between KO King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabio Rodrigues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fabio Rodrigues!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.


It looks like Fabio Rodrigues has been cut.
King looks to land a combination but Rodrigues avoids it well.
King moves out of range of the leg kick from Rodrigues.
Rodrigues circles away from the clinch attempt.

Rodrigues fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but King is out of range.
The fight stays on the outside here - King looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

King tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rodrigues swats him away and circles back towards the center.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee is keeping an eye on Rodrigues - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Rodrigues in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Fabio Rodrigues showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
