Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mike Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hanz Stokenhizer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barnes comes into the arena with Black Eyed Peas - Imma Be blaring out of the sound system. Stokenhizer is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Lucky Bullets "Cross the Line". Mike Barnes could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Hanz Stokenhizer's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes tries to clinch but Stokenhizer is having none of it.
Barnes misses with a head kick.
Barnes forces Stokenhizer back against the cage and clinches.
Barnes digs a right hand underneath Stokenhizer's ribcage. Stokenhizer let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Barnes has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Stokenhizer is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Barnes lands on the inside with an uppercut.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Stokenhizer just misses with a elbow thrown towards Barnes's brow.

Stokenhizer is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Barnes is pulling down on Stokenhizer's head. It's preventing any offense from Stokenhizer, at least for the moment.
Stokenhizer is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Barnes is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Barnes has escaped and now he's on top!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Stokenhizer wants to control but Barnes is keeping busy.
Barnes seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Stokenhizer does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Barnes looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Stokenhizer with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barnes is keen to just control but Stokenhizer is a slippery customer.
Barnes tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Stokenhizer.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Stokenhizer is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Barnes's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Barnes's back!
Stokenhizer has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Barnes has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Barnes manages to reverse the position and now he's in Stokenhizer's guard. Nice work there by Barnes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Stokenhizer counters with a nice double leg into guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Barnes is on top in guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A big right followed by a crushing left from Barnes knocks Stokenhizer out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
