Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Todd Snap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexey Durandin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Snap's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Eye of the tiger. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Todd Snap! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexey Durandin! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Valeri Chadov and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Durandin shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Snap defends it nicely. Durandin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Snap swats him away and circles back towards the center. Alexey Durandin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Snap scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Snap fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Snap advances to mount. Snap can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Durandin is looking to escape. Snap avoids the attempt from Durandin to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Snap trying to control but he's not successful this time. Snap controlling the position easily from mount. Durandin wants to hold on but Snap pushes him away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Durandin can't escape the position.
Snap wants to take Durandin's back here but Durandin is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Snap is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Durandin is surviving well by controlling Snap's body position as best he can. Snap fails to advance to Durandin's back. Snap has control of Durandin's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Durandin regains control of the situation pretty easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Durandin is trying desperately to improve position. Snap looking to land elbow strikes but Durandin uses the position to regain half guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Durandin trying to control but Snap postures up.
Snap is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Snap wants to take his opponent's back but Durandin doesn't allow it. Snap is landing with some decent strikes but Durandin is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Snap trying to control but he's not successful this time. Snap wants to finish this one by submission but Durandin is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Snap. Snap is breathing heavily. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Snap looking to control but Durandin is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Todd Snap dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Durandin tries to clinch up. Snap throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A nice inside leg kick there by Durandin. That's going to slow Snap down. Durandin with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Durandin scores with a push kick. Durandin cracks the inside of Snap's front leg. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A punch combination from Durandin misses. Durandin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Durandin fails in his attempt to clinch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Snap takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Durandin wants to clinch up but Snap keeps it at a distance. Durandin tries to close the distance and clinch but Snap swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Durandin with a poor takedown and Snap counters with a nice double leg into side control. Durandin won't be happy with that. Durandin regains half guard. Durandin works his way to full guard. Good work. Durandin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Durandin is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Snap wants to control from the top but Durandin keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Durandin is trying to control the position but Snap postures up. Durandin managing to control the position. Snap looking to pass the guard. Durandin manages to escape and get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Durandin throws a head kick that Snap semi-blocks.

Durandin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Snap swats him away and circles back towards the center. Durandin wants to clinch up but Snap keeps it at a distance. Durandin fails in his attempt to clinch. Durandin throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Snap.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Durandin tries to clinch but Snap moves out of range. Todd Snap is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Durandin throws a series of punches but Snap avoids them all with ease. Durandin fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Snap drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Durandin fails with an attempt to clinch.
Snap checks a leg kick nicely. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Snap fails with the takedown and Durandin finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alexey Durandin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Snap's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Durandin wants to clinch. Snap keeps the fight on the outside. Snap has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Durandin. Durandin fails with an attempt to clinch.
Durandin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Snap. Durandin shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Durandin was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Snap tries to hold on but Durandin pushes him away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Durandin working away from the top, dropping strikes. Durandin throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Snap because Durandin loaded up on that one. Durandin with a couple of short strikes. Durandin looking to ground and pound but Snap is blocking nicely. Snap tries to lock up and control but Durandin gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Durandin looking to finish Snap with some ground and pound. This is bad for Snap! Durandin can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Snap is looking to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Durandin looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Snap is looking to improve his position but Durandin isn't that keen on the idea. Durandin misses with a head shot. Durandin sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Durandin takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Durandin connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Durandin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Snap. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Durandin wants to finish this one by submission but Snap is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Durandin.
And that's the end of the fight! Alexey Durandin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Durandin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
