Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Melvin Manhoef (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sutton Ripley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ripley comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Danzig - Hand Of Doom kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Andrew Berry and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ripley takes the fight into the clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Ripley.
Ripley's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Manhoef breaks the clinch.
Ripley rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Manhoef moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ripley lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Melvin Manhoef has been cut.
Ripley keeps the fight on the outside.
Ripley tests Manhoef's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Manhoef takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Manhoef throws a left and a right that both miss
letting Ripley counter with a right hand.
Ripley feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Manhoef sprawling to the canvas! Manhoef rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Ripley finish him?!
Manhoef is rocked!
Melvin Manhoef's cut is getting worse.
Ripley drops Manhoef with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Manhoef! Ripley dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sutton Ripley!
