Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Olivier De Troyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jax Briggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Olivier De Troyer could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jax Briggs's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Olivier De Troyer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jax Briggs! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De Troyer tries to clinch up but Briggs circles away and keeps his distance. De Troyer misses with a wild combination.
Briggs shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. De Troyer is working to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. De Troyer regains half guard. De Troyer gets back to full guard.
De Troyer might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. De Troyer is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. De Troyer is striking off his back. Briggs thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard. Briggs slows the pace down in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. De Troyer gets full guard. De Troyer is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. De Troyer tries to strike from the bottom.
Briggs slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. De Troyer working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Briggs doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Briggs manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Briggs controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. De Troyer looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Briggs throwing strikes from guard but De Troyer blocks nicely. Briggs stopping the sweep attempt from De Troyer. Briggs trying to control the position from guard on top but De Troyer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Briggs sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's three minutes gone in the round. I looks like Briggs might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. De Troyer looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. De Troyer misses with a takedown attempt and Briggs counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. De Troyer misses with a takedown attempt and Briggs counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. De Troyer is breathing heavily. De Troyer misses with a takedown and Briggs counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Olivier De Troyer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice strikes from Briggs there. Briggs with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Briggs wants to pass to mount but De Troyer is defending the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. De Troyer is refusing to be controlled, as Briggs sits in half guard. Briggs really doesn't want to stay on the ground with De Troyer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Briggs working the head and body with strikes. Briggs is taking a breather. De Troyer says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. De Troyer trying to control here.

Jax Briggs dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
De Troyer fails with the takedown and Briggs counters with a takedown into side control. De Troyer is looking for a sweep. De Troyer on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Briggs remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. De Troyer can't do much from the bottom here. De Troyer takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. De Troyer tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Briggs wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Briggs controlling from side mount. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. De Troyer is trying to control Briggs's posture but Briggs avoids it. Briggs is looking to take a break and control but De Troyer is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Despite being in the dominant position, Jax Briggs just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. De Troyer gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Briggs counters with a nice body shot. De Troyer wants to clinch but Briggs slips to the side and Briggs counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Briggs seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. De Troyer wants to sweep but Briggs has passed to side control! De Troyer wants to control but Briggs postures up. Briggs controlling the position from side mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. De Troyer is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Briggs is one step ahead and moves to full mount! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Briggs cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
De Troyer is wriggling around trying to escape.
De Troyer wants to control but Briggs is having none of it. You get the feeling that De Troyer really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Briggs controlling the pace for now. Briggs is landing with some decent strikes but De Troyer is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Briggs looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. De Troyer working to try and regain half guard.
Briggs blocks De Troyer's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Briggs lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
De Troyer is desperately trying to improve his position but Briggs has a good base and remains in mount. De Troyer takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Briggs prevents De Troyer from getting the reversal. Briggs connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

De Troyer is rocked! Briggs sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Briggs lands a big shot there that rocks De Troyer but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Oh De Troyer is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Briggs with shots to the head and body - De Troyer looks very uncomfortable down there. Briggs landing shots from mount. De Troyer wants to control but Briggs is having none of it. De Troyer keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
De Troyer gets back to half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Briggs lands strikes from half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. De Troyer is trying to get back to full guard. De Troyer wants to control but Briggs is keeping busy and won't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jax Briggs showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Briggs circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops De Troyer to the canvas! De Troyer doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Briggs keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
